The Four Pillars of Restoration
Healing begins when we find safety and security. When our bodies are in "survival mode," it is difficult to think clearly or feel at peace.
Daily Stewardship: We look at the "foundations of care"—exercise, healthy eating, proper sleep, and hydration. These are the ways we honor our physical health as a foundation for mental clarity.
In-Session Tools: I use Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART) along with breathing exercises and grounding techniques. These help reset your nervous system and "re-program" how your brain stores painful images, allowing you to find immediate physical relief.
The way we talk to ourselves determines how we feel. We often have old scripts or negative thought patterns that tell us lies about our worth or our future.
The Goal: To identify the thoughts that keep you stuck and replace them with the truth.
How We Work: We look at your "automatic" reactions and explore how to reframe them. By aligning your thoughts with your Inherent Dignity, we clear away the mental clutter that causes anxiety and depression.
Your Will is your God-given ability to choose. When we feel overwhelmed by life’s transitions, we often feel like we’ve lost our power to act.
The Goal: To move from feeling "stuck" to taking small, intentional steps forward.
How We Work: We focus on your strengths and the "Little Way." Instead of getting lost in the past, we look at the "how" of your future—finding practical solutions and small wins that build lasting resilience.
The Soul is where we encounter God and find the meaning behind our existence. This is the deepest level of restoration.
Staying Connected: We discuss the importance of staying rooted in the life of the Church through regular Mass attendance, the Sacraments, and involvement in your parish community. We explore the questions life asks through a faith-filled lens to help guide your journey.
Interior Peace: We explore the power of silence, spiritual reading, and meditation. By nurturing your relationship with Christ, we find meaning even in our suffering, turning the "crosses" of life into a path of hope.
No part of the human person exists in a vacuum. When our Body is rested, our Mind is clearer. When our Mind is clear, our Will is stronger to make good choices. When our Will is strong, our Soul is free to rest in God.
This is the work of Restoration: moving from a fragmented life to a whole one.
To help you track your progress, we focus on several "Signs of Restoration" across all four pillars:
Physical Peace: Transitioning from "survival mode" to a regulated nervous system using ART and healthy daily habits.
Mental Clarity: Learning to silence negative internal scripts and see yourself as God sees you.
Intentional Living: Making decisions based on your core values rather than current emotional impulses.
Spiritual Vitality: Moving from a "dry" or burdened faith to a life nourished by prayer, the Sacraments, and silence.
Fees and Payment
My goal is to make professional counseling accessible, clear, and straightforward. I offer competitive rates to ensure that high-quality, faith-integrated care is a sustainable option for you and your family.
Fee: $75 per session (45 minutes) In-Person (San Angelo) or Telehealth Available
The Process: Clinical data indicates that the most consistent and lasting results occur when counseling is approached on a continual, weekly basis. This regular rhythm allows us to maintain momentum and build the sense of safety necessary for deep, meaningful restoration. While consistency is key to your progress, we will always walk at a pace that respects your unique needs and life circumstances. As you reach your specific goals and find your heart restored, we will collaboratively adjust the frequency of our sessions to best support your ongoing growth.
Fee: $100 per session (60 minutes)
The Process: These extended sessions allow adequate time for both individuals to be heard as we work through concerns together. Because relational healing requires intentionality and steady progress, I encourage a weekly commitment to the process. This consistency is key to rebuilding trust and communication in your marriage.
Fee: $40 per session for a predetermined amount of sessions
The Process: Group opportunities are offered periodically throughout the year. Because groups rely on trust and continuity among participants, they require a commitment to a predetermined number of sessions. Research supports that consistent attendance over the course of the group's duration maximizes the benefit for everyone involved. If interested in joining a group email Tony about the type of group you would like to join and days and times that work for you!
Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART) is designed to be a brief and highly efficient model, most clients experience a significant resolution of their primary concerns in just 1 to 5 sessions. This rapid "bottom-up" approach allows you to process trauma and emotional loops. To ensure you have the necessary space to reach a meaningful point of resolution, Restored Hearts offers three session lengths tailored to your specific needs:
60-Minute Session ($100): Ideal for maintenance or reinforcing positive imagery.
75-Minute Session ($125): The "sweet spot" for standard processing and deeper exploration.
90-Minute Session ($150): The gold standard for completing a full ART protocol in a single sitting.
These timeframes allow for you to move at your pace, ensuring you leave each session feeling grounded and restored.
Secure Payment: All payments are processed securely through the Simple Practice client portal via credit card.
Timing: To keep our focus on the clinical work during our time together, payment is due at the time of each session.
Insurance: I do not currently file with insurance. This allows us to maintain maximum privacy and flexibility in your treatment plan without the need for a formal mental health diagnosis required by many insurance providers.
