Future Write Up Below for August 2026.  Currently I'm a Counseling Student finishing up my MA in Counseling and I will become certified in ART Therapy this summer God willing.  

I believe that true restoration involves the whole person—mind, body, and soul. My path to counseling has been shaped by a deep commitment to service and the intersection of human psychology and spiritual wholeness. With a background as a Theology teacher and pilgrimage coordinator and currently serving as the COO of the Rome Boys, I bring a unique perspective to counseling. I hold a B.A. and M.A. in Theology, as well as an M.A. in Counseling from Angelo State University. As a husband and father to seven children, I understand the complexities of family life and the profound desire to see our loved ones, and ourselves, restored to the fullness of who we were created to be.

Your journey and your desire for change are the most important elements of our work together. I believe that you already possess the capacity for healing, and I am here to honor the unique experiences, background, and hope you bring into the room. While I draw from evidence-based tools like CBT, REBT, Solution-Focused, and Existential Therapy, these are always secondary to the therapeutic relationship we build and the goals you set for yourself. For those who wish to incorporate it, we can view these challenges through a Catholic lens, integrating the beauty of the faith into your path toward wholeness. To help resolve "stuck" emotions or trauma, I also utilize Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART), which helps you reframe distressing memories so you can "keep the knowledge, but lose the pain." Ultimately, my goal is to provide a grounded, respectful space where your values are honored, and your heart can find its way back to peace.
